2h2m was founded in 2001 by Rolf and Sandra Hunziker as hunziker & hunziker marketing management; abbreviated as 2h2m (2h from hunziker & hunziker and 2m from marketing management).

In 2008 the company was renamed to 2h2m (Schweiz) AG  as a consequence of an expansion and the company`s owner moving to the Gold Coast/Australia.
